Christian Education enables children, youth and adults to explore and develop their faith.

Children and Youth

  • Nursery care is provided for children under age 2 during worship throughout the year.
  • From September through June, children ages 2 through 12th grade have Sunday School classes during worship. The lessons follow the calendar year of the church. Thus, children in Sunday School and adults in worship will each hear a similar message. That message will be reinforced for the children through crafts, music, games, and story-telling. The following classes are offered:

Ages 2 - 5 - preschool & kindergarten

1st-4rd grades - Elementary

5th-8th grades - Middle Schoolers

9th-12th grades - High Schoolers

Confirmation classes

Youth Groups

Our 5th through 8th grade youth group has named itself "KOWS" - Kind, Outrageous, Wonderful Students. They meet regularly, usually on Sunday afternoons. Keep an eye on the calendar for upcoming events.

Our high school youth group also meets regularly.  They also sponsor a monthly praise worship service called "Night Light" - check the calendar for the date of the next one.

Adult Education

Various adult education opportunities are available throughout the year. See the calendar and/or the home page for more information.

Our church uses the "Gather 'Round" Sunday School program.  Gather 'Round is a Bible-based curriculum nurturing children, youth, and adults in becoming followers of Jesus: people who know and love God, interpret God’s word, belong to God’s gathered community, and share God’s good news.

Gather ’Round teaches all ages to embrace service and peacemaking. Gather ’Round lifts up the teachings of Jesus, and gives children and youth vocabulary to give voice to their understanding of God and faith. Gather ’Round understands faith formation as a process, and helps young people move from a faith of innocence toward an owned and accountable faith marked by a decision for baptism.
