Stewardship
Each year, the generosity of the people of the United Church of Underhill sustains and grows a community open to transformation. This year, we welcomed many new faces into our worshipping life and childrenās programming. We expanded our adult education offerings and elevated our observance of Pride Month. We moved forward our Harvest Crossing initiative to bring affordable homes to the neighborhood, and we saw expanded community use of our space, including Tai Chi, fly tying, scout groups and a food sharing shed. All of this is made possible by sharing time, talent, and financial resources. We thank you for your generosity, and we invite you to reflect on your giving plans for 2026.
Time
We celebrate the countless hours our many volunteers devote to Sunday worship, Harvest Market, Clutter Barn, and our diverse ministries.
Talent
Our community thrives when we share our spiritual gifts: Hospitality, serving, prayer, leadership, faith, teaching, knowledge, mercy, wisdom, prophesy, healing, and giving.
Finances
Your financial contribution transforms lives through:
45 % - Church ministry. Supporting the sacred spaces of worship,
musical expression, fellowship, and teaching.
27 % - Facilities. The blessing of buildings where we and others gather.
28 % - Mission. Providing for others with housing, diapers, clothes, food, supplies, camping, quilts & more.
With this in mind, we hope that you will consider pledging to the church this year. Pledging allows a budget to be constructed to plan and finance the activities of the church in the coming year.
You can make your pledge in one of three ways.
You can make your pledge in church on Consecration Sunday, November 16.
You can make an online pledge of giving at this link. Responses to this form are ONLY seen by the Financial Secretary.
Or, you can send in your pledge by mail when you receive the letter from Stewardship with a postcard-sized pledge card.
Please join us for a potluck breakfast downstairs at 8:30 before church on Sunday, November 16
