Borrow or donate durable medical equipment (DME)

The United Church of Underhill has wheelchairs, shower chairs, walkers, crutches, canes, commodes, and like items available to borrow when needed.

If you would like to donate or borrow equipment, please email medical@ucu.church (strongly preferred) or call and leave a message at the church (802-899-1722). Items we accept may be limited by the abundance of those items we have on hand and our limited storage space.

Items we accept/lend:

  • Walkers (2- and 4-wheeled)

  • Canes

  • Crutches

  • Shower chairs and benches

  • Wheelchairs (portable/collapseable)

  • Knee scooters

  • Commodes

  • Grabbers/Reachers

  • Raised toilet seats

  • Bed rails

  • Suction grab bars

Items we do not accept/lend

  • Hospital beds

  • Electric wheel chairs

  • Boots

  • CPAP machines or other electronic devices

  • Disposable medical supplies

  • Upholstered items

  • Food or beverages
