End-of-Year reminders
As December moves merrily along, here are several reminders about upcoming events and opportunities:
Christmas flowers. If you would like to contribute flowers to our Christmas services in memory or honor of someone, please bring the flowers to the church by Sunday, Dec. 21. Email our secretary by Sunday, Dec. 21 the names of those you are choosing to honor or memorialize.
Longest Night service: Wed., Dec. 17 7:00 pm at Richmond Congregational. This quiet Advent service will include contemplative music and prayer time for those who desire a gentle approach to the holidays.
Christmas Eve services and helpers. We will hold a 10:00 am Live Nativity and an 8:00 pm candlelit service on Christmas Eve. Volunteer sign ups are available for both of those events. We hope to see you there!
End-of-year Giving. We are very grateful for the generosity that has sustained and grown us this year. In case you’ve been meaning to make a 2025 donation or complete your 2026 pledge of giving, here is a gentle reminder that we’d welcome that information soon. We will also take up mission offerings on Sun., Dec. 21 for retired clergy and on Christmas Eve for the Vermont Food Bank. Wherever and however much we are able to give this season, God rejoices in the sharing.
